QA Manager & Project Coordinator

MRM Mining is an industrial and installation company. We take on projects in heavy industry, steel and concrete structures, machine installations, and industrial construction. We are now seeking a person who wants to help keep everything together, both in terms of quality and coordination.

The Role

As QA Manager and Project Coordinator with us, you have a key role in our operations. You work closely with project managers, site managers, skilled workers, and customers to ensure that our projects are run safely, efficiently, and in accordance with our certifications and requirements.

You are the person who ensures that routines are followed – but you also understand the reality of a workplace in full production.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Drive and manage MRM's QA system in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
• Support project managers and site managers in QA matters on an ongoing basis during projects
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up multiple parallel projects
• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections
• Develop and update procedures, checklists, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements
• Participate in the tender phase with QA documentation and project planning
• Report deviations, drive improvement work, and follow up on actions

We are looking for someone who

• Has documented experience of QA work in construction projects – you know what it's like when things are in full swing on a construction site
• Is accustomed to handling multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus
• Is self-driven and structured – you don't wait for tasks to be assigned, you see what needs to be done and take action
• Has a good understanding of ISO standards and systematic QA work
• Communicates clearly, both with field workers and with project management
• Has a valid driver's license (travel to projects in other locations occurs)

Meritorious

• Education in QA, work environment, building technology, or similar
• Experience from industrial, mining, or infrastructure projects
• Experience of certification work or external audits
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (AFS, Building and Construction Standards)
