Project Manager R&D Test

About the role:

For our client, we are now seeking an engaged Test Project Manager who wants to be involved in developing the energy solutions of the future. In your role as Project Manager, you will have a coordinating role with many interfaces both internally and externally.

You will work with testing and validation of our products, for development, service, and customer projects. You are responsible for budget, schedule, and planning of tests/validation, and work closely with Core Development, Production, and Test Engineers.

The role is varied, where one day you might create a cost estimate for testing in development projects, while the next day you are responsible for a test run in the workshop for prototype testing.

Your responsibilities:

The work includes varied tasks that are adapted to the project schedule in development projects, working both independently and in teams. You will, among other things:

• Lead cross-functional projects with collaboration across multiple disciplines within the organization and manage risks that arise within the project.

• Interact and network with multiple stakeholders such as order delivery teams, product owners, customers, R&D departments.

• Be responsible for test projects, including budget, schedule, planning of tests/validation, and execution of tests/validation.

• Lead, plan, and follow up on the projects you work on and be responsible for the tests/validation to be performed.

• Hold financial responsibility for your projects with tasks such as budget and financial follow-up.

• Continuously develop and grow in your role based on follow-ups of your development plan together with your manager.

Qualifications:

• You are a person with interest in project management and technology or engineering

• You are motivated by having a coordinating role with many interfaces

• You have an interest in developing yourself and your leadership skills

• You are a responsible and flexible problem solver who drives your work towards set goals.

• You have good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Knowledge or experience of the power industry, power plants, and measurement technology is meritorious.
