SDC Automation is growing and is now looking for a project manager, or someone with a background as a technician or programmer, who wants to drive projects from idea to completed solution.

About the role

Building automation is a central part of future sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. With us, you will get a key role in developing and delivering modern solutions that make a real difference for our customers. As a project manager, you are responsible for the entire project execution, from planning and design to delivery and follow-up. You work closely with customers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring that projects maintain high quality, adhere to the right schedule, and achieve good profitability. The role is varied and combines technology, business, and leadership. You lead the work forward, coordinate resources, and create structure in projects. At the same time, you are involved in developing and optimizing control systems that contribute to operational reliability, comfort, and reduced energy consumption.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and design

• Develop project plans including schedule and budget

• Ensure project goals, quality, and delivery are achieved

• Coordinate technicians and support them with programming and commissioning issues

• Be responsible for contact with customers and subcontractors

• Lead or participate in tests, functional tests, and inspections

• Follow up on finances and manage project costs continuously

• Handle changes and additional work during the project

• Prepare and ensure correct project and technical documentation

• Ensure handover along with a plan for operation, maintenance, and support

Requirements

• Upper secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience

• Experience in building automation or a related field

• Understanding of project finances and business

• Good knowledge of control systems

• Driver's license class B

• Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in project management

• Experience in programming within building automation, for example Niagara
