Do you want to work with advanced building automation in a role with great freedom and the opportunity to shape your everyday life? SDC Automation is growing and is now looking for a technician/programmer to help develop smarter and more efficient buildings.


About the role

As a technician with us, you will have a varied workday combining programming with hands-on work at customer sites. Your workplace will be both at the office (with the possibility to work from home) and on-site with customers during commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will become part of a skilled team where collaboration, respect, and a genuine interest in technology drive us forward.


Your responsibilities

• Programming and commissioning PLC systems, mainly in Tridium Niagara

(e.g., EC-Net, Trend IQ Vision)

• Working in our platform for monitoring, control, and optimization

• Coordinating control and regulation installations in smaller projects and service assignments

• Performing modifications of electrical cabinets and troubleshooting

• Collaborating with subcontractors during renovations

• Maintaining ongoing customer contact in projects as well as for warranty and service work

• Performing service and troubleshooting at customer sites

• Ensuring that technical solutions meet requirements and specifications

Requirements

• High school education in electrical/automation or equivalent experience

• Experience in building automation or control technology

• Knowledge of electrical systems and control and regulation technology

• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation

• Driver's license B

• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English in both speech and writing


Meritorious

• Experience in programming with Niagara, SAIA, and Fidelix

• Experience in commissioning of Siox, Modbus, and Bacnet and other fieldbus protocols
