MDS Engineer / Multi Drive Systems Specialist

Overview

For our client, we are seeking a driven and technically skilled MDS Engineer to work with Multi Drive Systems in ongoing order projects.

The role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, combining technical problem-solving, hands-on work, and close collaboration with both the workshop and site.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with Multi Drive Systems (MDS) in ongoing order projects, from preparation to implementation.
• Use Starter as the primary tool for configuration, troubleshooting, and verification of systems.
• Actively support workshop tests, including test runs, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of drive systems.
• Contribute to site support during installation, commissioning, and startup of equipment at the customer's location.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, project management, and service to ensure timely delivery with high quality.
• Document completed work and contribute to improvements in processes and routines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commissioning, preferably in industrial drive systems or similar technical environments.
• Turbine experience is highly meritorious.
• Good understanding of electrical drive systems, control systems, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Experience working in a workshop environment and/or on site.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach.
• Swedish and English in speech and writing.
