Laboratory Technician

Amspec Sweden performs quantity and quality inspections of fuels and chemicals. Our customers are primarily the major oil companies, oil traders, etc.

We are now looking for a laboratory technician for our laboratory in Skarvikshamnen, Gothenburg.

As a laboratory technician, you will perform analyses of petroleum products, chemicals, biofuels, etc.

Education/Experience

A suitable basic education is at least a technical or science program at upper secondary level.

But your education level is not decisive as you will receive a thorough introduction.

Previous experience from similar work, process or industrial laboratory, refinery, petroleum or chemical industry is meritorious.

Since some working hours are scheduled for evenings, nights and weekends, previous experience of shift work is an advantage.

The person we are looking for:

• must have a sense of order, as we place high demands on accuracy, and be methodical and structured

• is stress-tolerant and flexible

• can understand and express themselves orally and in writing, both in Swedish and English

• is open and positive
