The association Solåkrabyn on Selaön in Stallarholmen seeks summer substitutes

Solåkrabyn is a non-profit association running social therapeutic LSS activities for adults in Järna, Mölnbo, and on Selaön in Stallarholmen.

We are looking for someone with an interest in working for and with residents in our group homes.

It is important to us that you have a genuine interest in people, treating our residents with respect and consideration for their individual needs and wishes.

Since the work is varied, you should be confident in yourself, able to adapt to different situations, enjoy learning new things, be attentive, and show interest in your job. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and are not afraid to ask questions when needed.

Qualifications: You need to have healthcare and social care education, equivalent training, or experience working in healthcare and social care. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish is required due to extensive documentation and communication. Computer literacy and a valid driver's license (B) are required.

Experience with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) as well as experience working with people with disabilities is considered a merit.

Work duties include supporting, motivating, and stimulating residents' own ability to perform daily living activities and creating conditions for a meaningful life. Daily written documentation is part of the job.

Working hours: Scheduled shifts, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty.
