Habo Parish seeks Assistant Pastor

Habo parish, on the shore of Lake Vättern, about 15 km northwest of Jönköping, consists of three active and well-functioning congregations with many meeting places for both children and adults.

Habo is an expanding municipality with well-developed local services and the opportunity to live a good life with proximity to nature and outdoor activities. There are many families with children in our municipality, which has about 13,700 inhabitants and about 8,400 are church members. In the parish with the congregations of Habo, Gustav Adolf and Brandstorp, we are a team of 26 employees who work around four churches and a chapel.

Our activities are broad and we have a vibrant worship life, stable finances, well-maintained buildings and cemeteries, and not least engaged employees, both paid and volunteer. You have the drive to work independently but will also collaborate closely with our three other assistant pastors. In Habo parish, we face exciting challenges as we are in a phase of innovation and development.

We are looking for someone who:

• is ordained in the Church of Sweden.
• can meet people of all ages as you will work with children, youth, families, and the elderly.
• is good at planning, structuring, and forward thinking.
• is driven, responsible, perceptive, and social.
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• holds a driver's license and has access to a car.

The position is full-time and applies until further notice. Start date by agreement. Given that you will encounter many people in the role, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
