Foster Family in Collaboration with Famn

Do you want to make a real difference in a child's life? – We are looking for foster families.

There are children and young people who, for various reasons, cannot continue living in their current home environment. Children who need more safe adults in their lives and a functional daily life. All children have the right to security, belonging, and someone who sees them every day.

FAMN is now looking for warm, stable, and committed foster families who want to open their home and daily life to a child in need of a second chance.

Being a foster family means you:

- Provide safety, presence, and care in everyday life

- Are there as a stable adult over time

- Support the child in school, leisure activities, and social development

- Collaborate with the professionals involved with the child

Placements are made by the municipality, and FAMN can serve as support in the process and recommend to the municipality based on the child's needs and your family's conditions.

We offer:

- Thorough assessment (home municipality) and preparation for the assignment

- Ongoing guidance throughout the placement

- Close collaboration with FAMN and other professionals around the child

- Compensation according to applicable guidelines

Becoming a foster family is not always easy – but it can be decisive. For a child, it can mean the difference between insecurity and a place to finally land.
