Personal assistant sought in Färjestaden

We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant for a man in his 30s with an acquired brain injury. He lives with his family in Färjestaden. In the role as assistant, you will make a difference in his life and have the opportunity to help a person live a life on the same terms as others, as much as possible.

The work includes everything from care, training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home, at work, and wherever he is. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night, Monday-Sunday. You work shifts including on-call night duty. We also appreciate if you can work with short notice when needed due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific client, it is important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed due to illness or similar.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you have a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good documentation skills and a professional approach. You have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

Other qualities that are good in the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience in personal assistance.
