Personal Assistant Wanted in Färjestaden

We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant for a man in his 30s with an acquired brain injury. He lives with his family in Färjestaden. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in his life and have the opportunity to help a person live a life on equal terms with others, as far as possible.

The work includes everything from care, training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home, at work, and wherever he is. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night, Monday to Sunday. You work 24-hour shifts with some on-call duty at night. We would also like you to be able to work with short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your client, it is important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We would like you to have a flexible and independent work style and be able to easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and a professional approach. You have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

Other qualities that are good for the job include good humor, calmness, patience, and responsibility. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a big merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.

Since we value our clients' safety and security, we have a routine of requesting an extract from the criminal record for all persons employed in the company. This means that upon employment, we will require a register extract from you before you can start working.
