Description

Environmental Worker at Recycling Centers, at LL Bolagen

LL Bolagen is a privately owned company with roots in Stockholm and a history dating back to 1991. Our garbage trucks have since become a well-known part of the cityscape, and we are still an entrepreneurial company with strong ties to the founding family. The family feeling permeates our culture and is an important part of our identity.

We operate in Greater Stockholm and Uppsala and are today a group with approximately 350 employees and an annual turnover of about 350 MSEK. We are a nimble organization where the path from decision to action is short – both in our internal work and in customer interactions. With us, you work in a flat organization with clear areas of responsibility, where sustainability and quality are a natural part of everyday life.

We have ambitious goals for our sustainability work and strive to become climate neutral. Already, all of our collection vehicles run on electricity, biogas, or HVO100. We are also certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and our work is regularly reviewed by external auditors to ensure the highest standard.

Do you want a visible role in a business that makes a real difference for both people and the environment? LL Bolagen is now seeking Environmental Workers for our Recycling Centers (ÅVC) around Stockholm.

About the role

We are now seeking several Environmental Workers, primarily for our stations in Northern Stockholm, who can work on an as-needed basis and are comfortable with varying hours, including evenings and weekends.

As an Environmental Worker at our Recycling Centers (ÅVC), you become a key person in the customer’s sustainable everyday life. You are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, safely, and with high quality – and you are the safe, knowledgeable link that guides our visitors in their environmental work.

The role is varied and combines practical work with reuse and waste management, close collaboration with colleagues, and a strong focus on service and customer experience. You are on site at the ramp, where you actively contribute to order, safety, and a welcoming attitude.

As an important part of the team, you follow established routines and work environment regulations, while contributing energy, commitment, and a desire to create a positive work environment. Every day, you strive to deliver top-notch service and make the customer’s visit both easy and safe.

In your role, you guide visitors on how waste should be sorted, ensure everything is handled correctly, and report any deviations, damages, or risks to management. In short – you are a central part of creating a sustainable future, together with us.

  • Ensure waste is handled and sorted correctly

  • Is structured, solution-oriented, and takes initiative
  • Has good collaboration skills and professional demeanor

  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Experience from the waste/environmental industry
  • Forklift and wheel loader license
  • Ability to express oneself in English, both spoken and written
