Music Teacher for Grades 6-9 (60-100%)

The Stiftelsen Nya Ängkärrskolan is a small resource school for students in need of special support.

Stiftelsen Nya Ängkärrskolan has small groups with individualized instruction and a high adult-to-student ratio. Each class has 15 students with two teachers and one or two support staff during all lessons. Most lessons are conducted in smaller groups. We have 4 special education teachers assigned to specific classes, and one special education teacher focusing on students with problematic school attendance, as well as a special education teacher in mathematics.

At Stiftelsen Nya Ängkärrskolan, staff work in small teams called "four-leaf clovers." These teams consist of 4 teachers, 3 support staff, and 1 special education teacher who together are responsible for 2 classes with a total of 30 students. The advantage of this appreciated working method is that teachers feel strong support from colleagues while receiving continuous guidance from special education teachers, counselors, and peers.

JOB DUTIES

- Teach music in grades 6-9.

- Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching outcomes.

- Follow up on student results, personal teaching, and team work independently and together with the team.

- Take responsibility for common tasks within the team/organization.

The position is 60% but may possibly be extended to 100% with qualification in another subject.
