Teacher Assistant - 2 positions

Idrottsgymnasiet Nacka is seeking two teacher assistants (50–70%)

We are now looking for two dedicated teacher assistants for Idrottsgymnasiet Nacka starting on August 5, 2026.

At our school, we work from a holistic perspective: Education – Movement/Training – Brain-smart/Mental training, where each part reinforces the other. Our vision, Together we become stronger, is based on the organization's core values: Balance, Curiosity, and Community.

We offer students training in a broad selection of sports in collaboration with several established sports organizations. Training takes place every Wednesday and Friday morning and includes, among others, football, basketball, handball, ice hockey, padel, volleyball, street dance, and running.

About the role

As a teacher assistant, you will work closely with both students and staff throughout the school day. You provide support in teaching and contribute to a safe and functional school environment, even between lessons. Much of your working time will be spent on floors 4 and 6 (the sports hall).

Your tasks:

• Assist teachers and school staff during and between lessons
• Work closely with students, both individually and in groups
• Support students in their social and educational development
• Contribute to a safe and structured school environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong commitment to young people and preferably also sports
• Is good at building relationships and creating a sense of security
• Is calm, stable, and solution-focused
• Enjoys working closely with students in a varied daily routine

Particularly meritorious:

• Involvement in sports, for example as an athlete or leader
• Experience in practical leadership

About the position:

Number of positions: 2

Extent: 50–70%

Working hours: Distributed Monday-Friday.

Employment type: Permanent position (6 months probationary period)

Start date: August 6

Salary: Monthly salary according to agreement
