Sveriges Ridgymnasium AB is a stable organization that has been around for 20 years. Our schools are currently located in four locations across the country. We work purposefully to stay at the forefront of developing our schools and our pedagogy, with collegial learning high on the agenda. Sveriges Ridgymnasium's vision is to be Sweden's best riding gymnasium, and our goal is to give our students the best possible conditions to develop their equestrian interest and talent, while providing them with a solid college-preparatory upper secondary education that leads them forward in life, regardless of their path. In our schools, we create tomorrow's riders and horse people with a good educational foundation for both further studies and professional life.

Our first upper secondary school was started in Varberg in 2005. The school is located at Kvarnagårdens Ridcenter, together with Varbergs Ridklubb and Varbergs Ridskola – which are partners we value. Here 20 employees work. 90 students are spread across the school's three cohorts. Students study the Natural Resource Use Programme with a specialization in Horse Management.

This is what you will work with here

We are looking for a teacher in Swedish, preferably in combination with Religion. A combination with Social Studies can also work well. In addition to Swedish and Religion/Social Studies, another subject may be added based on the applicant's interest and competence.

The position is a permanent full-time position (100%). We would like you to start in August.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a certified upper secondary school teacher and wants to work at a nature-oriented school with a big heart.

As a person, you have good leadership qualities. You are perceptive, structured, unpretentious, and present. We expect you to have good collaboration skills with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management, and to value building trusting relationships.

We prefer that you have good IT skills, as you will work with several different systems such as SchoolSoft, Teams, and Microsoft 365.
