Temporary Accounting Economist to Malmö

AB Delita Advise is now seeking a temporary accounting economist for its finance department in Malmö to cover a forthcoming parental leave. The position is a full-time temporary assignment starting June 1, 2026 and is expected to last approximately 15 months.

About the position

As an accounting economist with us, you will work broadly within finance, focusing on invoicing, ongoing accounting, and year-end closing work. The role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, accuracy, and structure – and who likes working with debits and credits on a daily basis.

You will become an important part of the finance department and will also have the opportunity to contribute to development and streamlining of financial processes, together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues. You will have many contact surfaces within the organization and work closely with both business support and other functions.

Your duties include, among others:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Invoicing
• Year-end closing work
• Reconciliations and reporting
• Participation in improvement and streamlining work

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a few years of experience in finance and accounting work
• Has experience in year-end closing work
• Is self-driven, structured, and takes responsibility for their tasks
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team

You have very good knowledge of Excel as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Since you will handle sensitive information, accuracy, integrity, and sense of responsibility are very important qualities.

Experience from a law firm or other consultancy or service business is meritorious.
