Mechanic / Panel Beater / Vehicle Damage and Body Repairer

Lundgruppen Skadecenter operates at three locations in Skaraborg.

We are now looking for an additional panel beater or mechanic for our facility in Götene.

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of modern vehicles, and previous experience with high-voltage systems and troubleshooting is meritorious.

We are currently affiliated with Meca and are authorized for Fiat, Mitsubishi, Opel, Honda, Mazda, among others.

Main duties

Panel beater / mechanic working on our various brands, including everything from standard disassembly and assembly work to troubleshooting and work with high-voltage systems, as well as replacement of welded parts such as rear panels.

At our facility in Götene, you will work toward clear quality and performance targets.

You will be part of an already strong team with engaged staff, where the pursuit of quality and success is the common denominator.

Competence requirements

We are looking for someone with previous work experience in a similar role with a focus on the customer. Previous positions as a panel beater / mechanic in the automotive industry are considered merits. A degree in automotive technology or equivalent post-secondary education is required. You have good computer and system skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the role.

Your duties

We believe that the applicant is technically knowledgeable, communicative, and of course proud of their profession. As a panel beater with us, you should have a good business sense and understand the importance of putting the customer and service first. We also see that you are a problem solver driven to satisfy the company's customers. The role involves body repair, repairs, and troubleshooting on passenger cars and light trucks of most brands.

Personal characteristics

You are flexible, structured, disciplined, efficient in your work, and take responsibility for your tasks. Since the role involves varied tasks as well as both internal and external relationships, you understand the importance of being socially outgoing and having good cooperation skills, even in pressured situations. You are receptive to new instructions but have no problem thinking outside the box when a challenge needs to be solved. You recognize the value of building long-term customer relationships.
