Set-Up Operator for Injection Molding to Talent Plastics Gislaved

We are now looking for a set-up operator for injection molding at Talent Plastics in Gislaved. This role suits you who already have experience as a setter, or you who have worked closely with injection molding, machines, tool changes or technical production and want to develop further.

About the role

As a setter, you work with setting up, starting up and following up injection molding machines and peripheral equipment. The work is both practical and technical and involves you together with colleagues solving problems, preventing disruptions and contributing to improvements in production.

Your main tasks

In the role, you will among other things:

• perform or participate in tool changes and startups
• set, monitor and adjust process parameters
• troubleshoot operational disruptions and quality deviations, or participate in troubleshooting work together with experienced colleagues
• ensure that machines, tools and peripheral equipment work according to plan
• document settings, deviations and improvements
• cooperate with operators, production, quality, maintenance and engineering
• contribute to a safe and structured way of working

We are looking for

We are looking for someone who has a technical interest and wants to develop further in injection molding. You may already have experience as a setter, but you may also have worked as a technician or in another production-focused role where you have gained a good understanding of machines, tools and processes.

The most important thing is that you have a technical foundation to build on, are responsible and want to learn more.

We see that you have:

• experience of injection molding, plastic production or other technical production
• some experience of tool changes, startups or machine setting
• understanding of machines, tools and processes
• interest in technology, problem solving and production
• ability to work carefully and quality-consciously

It is meritorious if you have experience of robots, automation, drawing reading or work in a quality-assured production environment.
