Clinica Vintersol is a rehabilitation facility in Los Cristianos, southern Tenerife, primarily intended for individuals with neurological and rheumatological diagnoses, as well as psoriasis. We have 71 rooms with up to approximately 80 beds for inpatients and an outpatient department serving about 40 patients daily during winter. The largest staff group is physiotherapists, as the main activity during the patients' stay is physical exercise and rehabilitation. The facility has nursing assistants/auxiliary nurses around the clock and two registered nurses working on a rotating schedule. Total staff is around 40 people during high season. Our patients mainly come from Norway or Sweden and are financed by the Norwegian government's Behandlingsreiser or other resources, but privately paying patients also occur. We also have patients of other nationalities, e.g., Spanish, German, English, and Italian. We offer a very pleasant environment with a wonderful climate. We are looking for you: - who has at least two years' experience as a registered nurse and is interested in the above diagnosis groups - who can work independently and is good at taking initiative and making your own assessments - who enjoys working in a team - who sees the charm of living and working in a different culture with all that entails - who is stress-resistant and can handle an occasionally uneven workload - who is service-oriented, social, and has a positive attitude - who is very flexible and problem-solving oriented - who has good administrative skills Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse, preferably with previous experience in rehabilitation, rheumatology, neurology, primary care or emergency department. Knowledge of the Spanish language is highly meritorious. You need to feel comfortable working independently, as you are often the only nurse at the facility, together with a nursing assistant. It is also important that you have a good ability to solve unexpected problems. Your role as a nurse also includes some administration and coordination with various agencies such as the local hospital, pharmacy, medical practices, and insurance companies. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, organizational ability, flexibility, positive attitude, and service skills. This is a permanent position with a break (permanent employment but works seasonally approx. 9-10 months per year because we close during summer). It is a full-time position, i.e., 40 hours per week. Working hours: Rotating schedule with morning and evening shifts but no nights. Every other weekend. Salary: approximately 27,000 EUR gross/year for a full-time position. Free meals are included during working hours and are not taxed as a benefit. You are employed by a Spanish company, and tax and social security contributions of about 25% are deducted from the salary for the first half-year/calendar year you work in Spain.
