Would you like to drive a development project where youth participation and educational activities are central? Gothenburg Sports Museum is looking for a project manager with pedagogical responsibility for a three-year Heritage Fund project. The project aims to strengthen upper secondary school students' influence and develop new working methods at the intersection of sports, history, and learning.

About the museum and the project: Gothenburg Sports Museum is a meeting place for the history, present, and future of sports, with extensive collections of objects and photographs. In spring 2026, a three-year development project will launch focusing on method development, inclusion, and youth participation.

About the position: Project employment at 50% (approx. 20 hours/week) for three years. You have overall responsibility for the project – from planning to implementation and follow-up – and lead the pedagogical development work. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work in close collaboration with schools, associations, and actors such as RF-SISU and the Swedish Parasport Federation.

Duties

• Lead and coordinate the project

• Develop and implement educational activities and workshops

• Ensure youth participation

• Be responsible for budget, timeline, follow-up, and reporting

• Document methods and results

• Collaborate with schools, associations, and partners

• Communicate the project via digital channels

• Actively work on inclusion and accessibility.

We are looking for someone who

• has a strong commitment to youth participation

• is structured, communicative, and collaborative

• has experience working with children and young people

• is at most 26 years old. (The position is funded by the Swedish Inheritance Fund, and according to the fund's conditions, the person employed must be 26 years or younger).

Meritorious

• Experience from the museum or cultural sector

• Experience from sports or association life

• Experience or education in project management

• Experience with documentation and evaluation.
