Production Planner

About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will have overall responsibility for planning, purchasing, production, and logistics. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality to ensure efficient flows and optimal resource utilization. The role involves both strategic and operational work with a focus on continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to manufacturing processes
• Plan material supply and production flows
• Optimize inventory and reduce tied-up capital
• Ensure high delivery accuracy and quality
• Build and develop relationships with suppliers, both locally and globally
• Drive improvement projects in lean and efficient production
• Lead and develop teams in purchasing, warehousing, and logistics

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree in logistics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
• Has several years of experience in supply chain work within manufacturing industry
• Has a good understanding of production processes in the mechanical industry
• Is experienced with ERP systems and analysis tools
• Has experience in lean manufacturing and improvement work
• Is a clear leader with strong collaboration skills
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
