Linden Foundation seeks summer substitutes. Extra summer allowance paid.
Description
Linden Foundation runs LSS operations where we offer housing and daily activities for people diagnosed with autism. Our approach is based on an individual focus where each tenant's individual needs are met. We achieve this through a clarifying approach and an empathetic low-arousal response that gives each individual the opportunity to develop at their own pace and ability. Our operations are located in Vingåker and outside Katrineholm in Södermanland. Since the operations are located in the countryside outside Vingåker and Katrineholm, a driver's license and access to your own car are required. We are looking for someone who is calm, positive, stress-resistant, independent, structured, and can follow established work routines. You must have a genuine interest in working with people who think and act outside the norm. You should have understanding and humility towards new things and a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable using a computer, as all documentation is done digitally. Previous experience as a personal assistant or with autism is meritorious but not required. You must be able to work all weeks between 25 and 35. We offer a monthly salary for our summer substitute positions. The summer substitute positions are between 85-100%.
An extra summer allowance of SEK 27 per hour on top of the hourly wage, holiday pay, and contractual overtime and on-call compensation corresponding to an average of SEK 1000 per week extra if you work full-time. To receive the allowance, you must work the entire summer period, and the allowance is paid for a maximum of 12 weeks.
Being a treatment staff member with us at Stiftelsen Linden is about working to safeguard, consider, and increase the individual's ability for personal development and self-determination.
Some parts of the job may involve sleeping on-call. This means you can sleep during part of the working hours but must get up if the tenant needs help. The remaining time includes days, evenings, and weekends.
You will, together with the tenant, perform all the chores that commonly occur in a home. Ensure that the tenant receives the care their needs require. Assigned work routines must be followed and completed within set time frames. Contribute to a positive work climate by having a positive attitude towards work, showing empathy, service orientation, and professional treatment of tenants, relatives, custodians, colleagues, and others.
