Personal Assistant Wanted in Karlstad!

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a man in his 50s living with a spinal cord injury and residing in Karlstad. As an assistant, you become an important part of his daily life and help create conditions for participation and quality of life. You get the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting him in living his life as independently and equally as possible.

The work includes everything from nursing, training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home and wherever he is. Working hours are scheduled both daytime and evenings, Monday-Sunday. We appreciate if you can also work on short notice when needed, due to illness or the like.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants chosen by and for your user, it is important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice when needed, due to illness or the like.

WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We appreciate if you who apply for the position have a flexible and independent working style and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good documentation skills and a professional approach. Other qualities in you that are good for the job include a good mood, calmness, patience, and responsibility. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.
