Do you want to work as a personal assistant in Gothenburg?

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a preschool-aged child with extensive medical needs. This role means you will become an important part of the child's everyday life and contribute to safety, development, and quality of life.

The work is performed in the home environment and where the child spends the day. The role includes qualified nursing care, handling of medical equipment (including tube feeding), personal hygiene, transfers, and support during play and training. You work closely with the family and are part of a team where cooperation and communication are essential. The position involves awake supervision and double staffing.

Work shifts are scheduled during the day, evening, and night, every day of the week. We would appreciate if you can work on short notice when needed and that you are available during the summer and other holiday periods.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and genuinely committed to working with children with special needs. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing situations. Working independently and taking responsibility comes naturally to you, while you also value good cooperation with colleagues.

You should have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, be accurate with documentation, have a professional and respectful approach, and be patient and attentive.

Experience in personal assistance or work in healthcare is advantageous, especially if you have previously worked with children and medical interventions.

Prior to employment, we require an extract from the criminal record according to our procedures.
