Aneby parish coincides with Aneby municipality, the small municipality with close and good cooperation between church, municipality, associations, and business. Here the church is in the middle of the village. The parish consists of five congregations with nine churches and there is good ecumenical cooperation.

A brief introduction to us

In Aneby parish, there is a good team spirit characterized by joy at work and helpfulness. Here we gather for morning prayer and a shared breakfast every weekday morning. We consider wellness important for creating a good balance in life. There is an opportunity to partly plan your own workday. There are good opportunities for further education and development, for example annual retreats or similar.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who finds joy in worship life and wants to develop it together with committed employees and parishioners throughout the whole parish.

Partly we are looking for someone who wants to work with learning and teaching based on developing a baptismal pastoral. You will be part of the diocese's major initiative, Fokus konfirmand (Focus on Confirmation), where together with colleagues you will strengthen the confirmation tradition to give young people the opportunity to find a path to faith.

Partly we are looking for someone who wants to work across generations and meet people in the midst of life. We place the encounter at the center and there is a diversity of meeting places. In Aneby parish, the church has a given place, both in small and larger contexts. Together we dare to cross boundaries and lift human dignity and the holiness of all creation.

• is ordained in the Church of Sweden and is confident in your professional role
• has a good ability to communicate orally and in writing

The position requires a B driver's license and access to your own car.
