We at the National Organization GAPF – Never Forget Pela and Fadime are now in an important phase where we are growing and developing.
In 2025, our support helpline helped over 360 people exposed to honor-related violence and oppression. We carried out over 10,000 support interventions and managed cases concerning 58 people who were taken from Sweden against their will.

Extent: 100 percent
Location: GAPF's office at Vattugatan 5, Stockholm
Terms: Permanent with 6-month probation period during the first 6 months of employment.

About the role:
In close collaboration with the support helpline coordinator, you will drive the work of the support operation. The work primarily consists of providing support to victims, relatives, and professionals but also includes other activities related to the support operation.
Your working hours are flexible based on the needs of the operation, with the possibility of working from home. Work outside of office hours exists by agreement, as GAPF's support operation is open around the clock every day of the year. This is a permanent position with a probationary period for the first 6 months. GAPF has a collective agreement with Fremia and individual salary setting.
As a Support Coordinator, you are responsible for:
- staffing the support helpline phone and email according to scheduled times,
- staffing the support helpline phone and email during evenings, weekends, and nights to receive urgent cases,
- answering calls from support-seekers and mapping their situation and support needs, then assessing appropriate interventions,
- supporting support-seekers in their contacts with authorities,
- supporting and advising professionals in honor-related cases,
- supporting relatives of honor-based violence victims,
- documentation and follow-up of cases,
- organizing training for support persons and volunteers in the work of the support helpline.
Other work tasks and work outside regular working hours occur by agreement. This applies, for example, to activities organized by GAPF, participation in network meetings for non-profit organizations, and outreach work toward schools and other operations.
Your profile:
We are looking for someone who is educated in social work and has at least 1 year of experience in that field. You must have worked with individual cases and have experience in making risk and needs assessments based on conversations. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have previous experience in work regarding honor-related violence and oppression, experience in meeting people in need of support and/or protection, experience from work in a government authority, human rights, advocacy or similar, either as a volunteer or employee.

- always think first from a safety and victim perspective,
- possess good analytical ability and critical thinking,
- have good ability to collaborate with authorities and other actors.
