Substitute as needed - Västerås

I am looking for personal assistants who can and want to work as hourly substitutes.

To work and thrive in the job with me, you must:

Be a confident person with a good sense of humor leaning towards the slightly crazy side; that helps when working with me, but also be able to be serious when required, and preferably be a perceptive person.

Be able to step in on short notice, be spontaneous; it is a plus if you have a motor and/or car interest.

Enjoy participating in social contexts, speak and write Swedish fluently, be responsible and careful about being on time, be smoke-free, and also be comfortable assisting with intimate tasks when needed.

Since some lifting is involved, it's important that you are in reasonably good physical shape.

You who apply should preferably be between 22-35 years old.

I am a guy living in Västerås, and I am a member of Blå Assistans because I want self-chosen and self-directed assistance. Blå Assistans undertakes to be the employer for my assistants while I myself choose whom I want them to hire. I schedule my assistance and decide on the assistants' work content. My provider strives for members, assistants, and administrative staff to have the competence that their tasks require.

Blå Assistans is a nationwide non-profit association run in cooperative form since 1994. The cooperative arranges personal assistance in accordance with the intentions of the LSS, the law that gives people with disabilities the 'right to live like others.' Personal assistant is the service profession that supports a person with a disability to live the life he/she wants to live.

Your employment includes participating in training as required by the employer.
