I Ur och Skur Grodan in Sollentuna seeks experienced preschool teacher

I Ur och Skur Grodan in Sollentuna is seeking an experienced preschool teacher for a permanent position starting in August/September 2026.

I Ur och Skur Grodan is located in a scenic area at Rotsunda Gård in Sollentuna municipality. We work according to the I Ur och Skur pedagogy, which is based on Outdoor Life in the spirit of Friluftsfrämjandet.

We have five departments with space for 90 children. Two departments for children aged 1–3, two departments for children aged 3–4, and one group for upcoming school children. The position applies to one of our toddler departments. Currently an experienced Childcare Worker and an uneducated Childcare Worker work there. They have close cooperation with the other department for 1–3-year-olds.

The preschool is private and run as an economic association. This means you are also expected to participate in voluntary work as a member of the cooperative and work for the best of the cooperative and the preschool. It also means you have the opportunity to influence deeply, especially since you have the opportunity to be part of the board, which is the principal of the preschool.

Applicants should have extensive experience in the preschool teacher profession, understand and work according to the curriculum, be able to document and reflect, have a calm working approach, be able to work independently, take responsibility, and have good collaboration skills. You will have department responsibility and be able to develop and drive the department together with colleagues as a team. Good communication skills are a must. You need very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You should have joy and playfulness and see to the best interests of all children! You are expected to be where the children are and participate in their play and exploration. If you are as dirty as the children when you come in, you have succeeded!

We are a preschool where we care for each other, all children, guardians, and colleagues. Everyone should be seen and listened to.

The principal is present in the operation several days a week and works closely with children, staff, and guardians to create good relationships based on trust and confidence.
