Journalism Teacher at Kalix Folk High School

Kalix Folk High School is beautifully situated at the mouth of the Kalix River, a couple of kilometers from Kalix city center in Norrbotten County. The school is run by SV (Study Association for Adult Education Norrbotten). Today, Kalix Folk High School offers an educational alternative for approximately 250 students each year, making it a relatively large folk high school with a history dating back to 1939.

The school offers both on-site and distance education in various fields, providing a very diverse program.

Knowledge is today's most sought-after asset, and at Kalix Folk High School, we contribute to popular education with the vision of keeping every individual in focus.

We now need to strengthen our teaching team and are looking for a teacher for our Journalism Program.

We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the journalists of the future and is passionate about supporting others in a career in an exciting media world. We believe that applicants have a solid background in journalism, good industry insight, and a broad network. We are looking for a team player who can share their knowledge with others. You need to have the will and genuine commitment to create something unique for our participants.

Our journalism program is primarily structured as a distance education with a few physical meetings per year at Kalix Folk High School. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have good digital skills.
