Musikanten, the central preschool in Söderköping – where joy abounds!

Preschool Musikanten is an established parent cooperative that has existed since 1991. The proximity to forest, library, playgrounds, ice rink, and the central parts of Söderköping creates good conditions for varying the content of education and teaching. We have a large yard that inspires versatile learning with a focus on sustainability issues. The preschool is run as a parent cooperative, which means that the staff have pedagogical responsibility while guardians create conditions and are responsible for operations and some maintenance.

Learning takes place in everything we do – in play, meals, the hallway, and in the processes that occur in our project-based approach. Children get to develop their creative and exploratory sides in a permissive environment where participation and influence are highly emphasized.

A warm and open climate and close collaboration between everyone paves the way for creating a safe environment for learning and development.

Who you are

Preschool Musikanten is seeking an engaged, driven childcare worker with a focus on children's development and learning. You will join our work team and help develop our preschool and education.

We are looking for someone who wants to understand children's life world and, based on that, develop children's learning. You are a flexible person with good communication skills. By being perceptive and empathetic, you build strong and positive relationships with colleagues, children, and guardians.

You are a trained childcare worker and proud of your professional choice. You are a warm and playful person interested in children's thoughts, development, and learning, and you want to brighten their everyday life. You are a cheerful, social, and cooperative person.

You are a creative, active, present, and co-investigating educator who has the will, desire, and ability to listen to, inspire, and challenge children. You also have the ability and courage to take your own responsibility and to see opportunities. You have good collaboration skills and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues in the work with children.

The employment:

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a six-month probationary period
