Description

About the Position

We are growing and are looking for someone who wants to work as a teacher in our general introductory program. You will teach according to our model and act as a mentor for about 15-20 students. We are seeking a colleague who is interested in/trained in special education and who enjoys driving development and wants to help us strengthen our team and operations. As a teacher with us, you will meet students with various types of challenges. What our students have in common is that they have not completed their compulsory education. You will work systematically, preventively, and promotively on issues that arise in daily operations together with a well-functioning team with a relational and salutogenic approach. Mapping students' study situations, support needs, and adaptations are part of the role, as is close collaboration with a special education teacher. You will also collaborate closely with a social educator, as motivation and participation are core issues. Communication with guardians and external contacts with authorities also occur.

Our schools work with a strong value base for social improvement and equal value. Therefore, it is important to us that you share our values.

Qualifications

For this position, you need experience in grades 7-9 and/or upper secondary school.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, confident, communicative, perceptive, and can choose different approaches to find solutions. You are unpretentious and thrive in an environment where we collaborate and help each other to develop the operations.

In our schools, the personal meeting is important. Therefore, you should enjoy working with young people in general and supporting them in their development towards stronger self-esteem and empowerment. We value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs, as well as your ability to create good relationships.

You are curious and work actively to ensure that every student develops as far as possible. You have high expectations and dare to challenge each student based on their conditions.

It is important to us that you are motivated to challenge yourself, your colleagues, and students to contribute to your own as well as the school's and students' development and well-being.
