About the Position We are now looking for a career and study advisor at approximately 60% who wants to be an important link between the school, the student, and the future labor market. As a SYV with us, you are part of the student health team alongside a strong student health team, but you also play a key role in the school's outreach work and marketing to prospective students.

Duties In the role of SYV at Skärgårdsgymnasiet, you are responsible for guiding students through their educational journey and driving our recruitment efforts. Your main tasks include:

• Individual and group career guidance for students in our various vocational programs.
• Marketing and recruitment: You plan and implement outreach activities such as school visits to compulsory schools, participation in high school fairs, and our popular "try-out days" where prospective students can test our programs.
• Information and support for future career choices, further studies (e.g., higher vocational education), and labor market requirements.
• Work with individual study plans and follow-up on students' study paths.
• Collaboration with industries and companies, and active participation in the school's student health team (EHT).

Qualifications

• You have a degree in study and career guidance.
• You are outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of groups and representing the school in various public contexts.
• You have good knowledge of the upper secondary school regulations and the structure of vocational programs.
• You have the ability to inspire and motivate students with different backgrounds and goals.
• Experience in marketing within the education sector or work with fairs is highly meritorious.

Employment Conditions

• Extent: 60%.
• Type of employment: Permanent (we apply a 6-month probationary period).
• Position type: Leave-based employment (semestertjänst)
• Start: Spring semester 2026
