About us

Holmenstyr is a parent cooperative located in the scenic area of Askim, with proximity to both sea and forest. With us, children experience a safe and joyful everyday life where play, exploration, and creativity are a natural part of learning.

We are a small preschool with about 16 children aged 1–6 years and a dedicated staff who together create a safe, creative, and joyful daily life. Here we work closely together – both within the team and with the parents who are involved in the cooperative. This ensures short decision-making paths and good opportunities to influence operations.

About the role

As a childcare worker with us, you are an important part of the team and contribute to creating a safe, fun, and developmental environment for the children. You work closely with colleagues and together you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing educational activities based on the curriculum, with the children's best interests in focus.

The work includes both planned activities and spontaneous learning situations, both indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained childcare worker
• Is committed, responsive, and confident in their role
• Finds it easy to collaborate and contribute to a positive work climate
• Thrives in a smaller organization where flexibility is part of the everyday
• Has a genuine interest in children's development and learning
• Has an interest in nature, creativity, music, or movement

Employment

• Position: Part-time, approx. 50%
• Start date: August 3, 2026
• Salary: Individual salary setting
