Matthews Marking Systems Sweden AB is an American-owned company that offers marking solutions for logos, text, and other elements on products for marketing or traceability. We have extensive experience in solving customers' marking needs on cardboard boxes, cement bags, eggs, boards, and much more.

At our office in Mölndal, we are about 55 people working on everything from product development, assembly, sales, and service. Having the entire chain under one roof provides a learning and dynamic environment that facilitates collaboration to find the best solution for our customers. However, we also have colleagues in the USA and Asia and customers around the world.
About the Role
In this role, you will help create and develop relationships with our customers. You will work both with contacting new customers and taking care of existing ones, while learning more about our industry and products. You support the team in finding new business opportunities and contribute to increasing sales—with support and guidance from more experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Travel is part of the role.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Understand customer needs and present solutions that match their requirements.
- Create quotes and negotiate agreements in consultation with senior colleagues or managers.
- Participate in sales and marketing activities such as trade fairs, product demonstrations, and campaigns.
- Learn the company's products and services to provide competent advice to customers.
- Follow trends and developments within the industrial sector to offer relevant solutions.
- Update CRM system with customer information and activities.
- Follow up on leads and document results.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school education, preferably with a technical or economic focus.
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably with technical products.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Basic understanding of industrial processes is an advantage.
- Microsoft Office package
