About the position
As a field mechanic and inspection technician, you work on-site with customers, combining service, troubleshooting, and technical assessments. A central part of the role is to inspect and evaluate used machines before a purchase or trade-in.
You work with compressors, drill rigs, generators, and other industrial machines, where you are responsible for assessing condition, identifying needed actions, and ensuring equipment meets our quality standards.
The work is independent and varied, with great personal responsibility and close contact with both customers and colleagues.
Your responsibilities
- Inspection and technical assessment of used machines before purchase and trade-in
- Service and maintenance of, for example:
- Compressors
- Drill rigs
- Generators
- Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Repair and replacement of components (engines, control systems, relays, sensors, etc.)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Documentation in service and inspection reports
- Customer contact and technical advice, both on-site and via phone
Who we are looking for
- Completed upper secondary education in vehicle, industrial, electrical and energy program, or equivalent
- Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics
- Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Hold a B driver's license (BE is meritorious)
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (multilingual is meritorious)

Work environment
The work mainly takes place on-site with customers in industry, construction, and contracting. Travel occurs daily and overnight stays are a natural part of the job.
