Job description
This responsible role as an SMD Setter (setting up surface-mounted electronic components for surface-mount lines) will be particularly demanding of you at the beginning. Being responsible for SMD setup requires great precision and dexterity as the components are quite small and fiddly. The role involves pre-setting the machines and helping to prepare and change over jobs on the machine lines.
This is not a role for someone who wants every day to look the same. You should enjoy changes in pace and be stress-resistant.
Qualifications and experience
Your personality and drive are important qualities. You are expected to be, or develop into, a role model for your colleagues through your knowledge, curiosity, and drive.
Precision and a desire to always get things right are your guiding principles. You should be confident and have a flexible attitude toward new challenges as we constantly face new situations. Naturally, you should work well in our team, but it is also important that you are a self-sufficient problem solver who takes your own initiative, as we believe people grow when they are given responsibility.
You have a high work capacity, are positive, humble, and broad in your experience and interest. We are looking for someone who finds it easy and has the willingness to learn new things, interacts well with different types of people, is inspiring, and instills confidence, and who is more of a workhorse than a peacock.
Good Excel skills and fluent English in speech and writing are required. Previous experience with surface-mount machines and electronics production is meritorious.
