CNC Operator

We are looking for you who want to work as a CNC setter or machine operator in a modern metal workshop where quality, precision, and stable production are central. You will work with both turning, milling, and larger machining in boring mills, with Heidenhain as the main control system.

This is a role for you who thrives close to production, enjoys keeping the machines running, and wants to develop in metalworking. As a CNC setter/machine operator, you are responsible for the daily operation of the machines and ensuring that production runs smoothly. You will:

Machine Setup & Operation

• Operate and monitor CNC lathes and CNC milling machines
• Perform setups, tool changes, and minor adjustments
• Work with controlled boring mills when needed
• Adjust programs and parameters in Heidenhain

Quality & Measurement

• Measure and inspect parts according to drawings
• Ensure tolerances and quality requirements are met
• Document deviations and report to the responsible person

Daily Operations & Orderliness

• Maintain order around the machine
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Contribute to a stable and efficient production flow

Requirements for the Role

• Experience with CNC machines (lathe and/or mill)
• Basic knowledge of Heidenhain
• Understanding of drawing reading and measurement techniques
• Precision and sense of responsibility in work

Meritorious

• Experience with boring mills
• Experience with larger parts and heavier machining
• Knowledge of CAM programming (e.g., Mastercam)
• Experience with LEAN/5S
