System Safety Engineer for Advanced UAV Systems

We are now looking for a System Safety Engineer for a long-term assignment with our client in the defense industry. The client operates in the development of advanced unmanned helicopter systems for maritime, military, and societal critical applications. About the assignment:

As a System Safety Engineer, you will be part of a team working with system safety for a complex helicopter system. You will work cross-functionally and support several parts of the organization in safety-related issues. The assignment is conducted in project form and involves close collaboration with systems engineers and other technical disciplines.

Your main tasks include

Reviewing system safety work based on set requirements

Conducting various types of system safety analyses

Identifying safety-critical functions and components

Developing and defining system safety requirements

Supporting systems engineers in design work to ensure that safety requirements are met

Contributing to the development of safety measures in the system

Your Profile

3 years of experience in system safety or related area (e.g., systems engineer)

College or university degree in an engineering field

Experience working with standards and technical documentation

Good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Meritorious

Experience from the aviation or defense industry, preferably with unmanned systems

Location: Linköping

Work model: Primarily on site, with the possibility of some remote work as needed

Start: Immediately (depending on notice period)
