Restaurant and Café Assistant with Passion for Baking, Must Be 20 Years Old.

In Rångedala's lunch restaurant and café at the Lundaskog/Borås store, we focus on good seasonal ingredients with local connections. A large portion of greens with Swedish-grown legumes. The food is prepared with a more modern twist on home cooking according to season and local character. We serve food cooked from scratch with clear flavors. Simple and nutritious but with finesse. In our Café we serve delicious pastries with variety and also here with ingredients in season with local connections.

It should be evident that we have made the food with great consideration for the ingredients we use, where "waste-thinking" is part of our daily routine in the kitchen.

We are now looking for someone who preferably has experience working in a café and restaurant environment and has a passion for baking and keeping up with trends and what is current in the field. We want you to be very service-oriented and accustomed to customer contact, with the ability to provide good service based on each individual guest's wishes.

It is required that your energy level is high and that you can keep many projects going at the same time. As a person you are positive, responsible, meticulous and solution-oriented. You need to have good physical condition as the work is very mobile.

You will work in a team with two colleagues, so you need to be a team player as we all help each other.

Your main tasks are to ensure that the work in the restaurant runs smoothly, where you receive guests at the cash register, serve coffee, keep clean and tidy, ensure that we have fantastic pastries for sale, perform simple food preparation and have an eye for details and that little extra.

You will have serving responsibility and therefore you must be at least 20 years old (according to the Alcohol Act Chapter 8, Section 18).

Tasks:

- Cash register work

- Responsibility for the work in the restaurant

- Lunch service

- Coffee service

- Handling of coffee machine

- Baking and simple food preparation such as sandwiches etc.

- Cleaning of the restaurant and café area

Requirements:

- You must be able to work independently and take initiative while being a team player as we help with many things

- Take your own initiative for the work in the restaurant

- Preferably experience in café and restaurant as well as passion for baking, preferably in a large kitchen environment.

- Social ability to provide service and respond to guests according to their wishes.

- Eye for details and keeping up with trends and what is current in the field of baking.

- Ability to bake and prepare simple food/coffee and handle any related machines
