Assistant Nurse/Care Attendant to Karbyhemmet

We are looking for 2 assistant nurses/care attendants for the summer on part-time/full-time basis.

Karbyhemmet is a residential care home for adults with mental disabilities. We are located about 10 minutes outside central Norrtälje in a beautiful setting and offer a total of 12 places.

We ensure that each individual is in focus and the work is based on the person's life patterns, values and habits. As we have a high staffing level during the day, there are great opportunities for social activation for those living with us. Your work will also include general tasks such as kitchen work, cleaning, and inventory management. The work also includes medication administration after delegation from our nurse. We prefer that you can work days, evenings and weekends as needed. Sleeping on-call duty at the workplace is practiced.

Meriting is that you:

*Have completed a 3-year nursing program or other education deemed equivalent.

*Have previous experience working with elderly people with mental disabilities and/or dementia.

*Master the Swedish language both orally and in writing.

*Are engaged and responsible.

*Have good cooperation skills when working in a group, but also feel confident in your abilities when working alone.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about care and nursing work. You are service-oriented, flexible and can adapt to situations. You want to help create a calm living environment for the client and are not afraid to try new working methods or ideas. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
