CBT Therapist / Medical Social Worker

Läjeskliniken is a private health center located in Träslövsläge, Varberg and is part of Vårdval Halland.

Now there is an opportunity for you to become part of our professional team.

Your duties at the health center span a broad field and involve individuals over 18 years of age. In your work, you are responsible for psychosocial care and psychological treatment that also includes support conversations, crisis intervention, counseling, assessment, and evaluation.

You will treat and support patients in finding continued paths forward by increasing their awareness of their life situation, their own possibilities and resources. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a core treatment model. The work also involves guiding and supportive collaboration with various internal colleagues regarding patients with psychosocial distress.

Working hours are flexible 50-100%

If you have step 1 training in psychotherapy, supervision is offered.

About you

• You are a trained social worker and licensed medical social worker.

• Other relevant basic education is also welcome to apply, but you have completed psychotherapy step 1 (GPU) with a focus on CBT.

• Previous experience from primary care is meritorious.

• We are looking for someone with a sensitive and accommodating approach, with a good ability to communicate and to perceive each individual's unique needs. We also see that you are flexible, creative, and confident in your professional role, and you easily build trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners.

• Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the development of the business and contribute as a consultative resource in the interdisciplinary collaboration at the health center.
