Axlagården in Umeå is a hospice offering specialized palliative care with a focus on quality of life, dignity, and human presence. Now we are looking for you who want to strengthen our night team.

Summer 2026 – bonus compensation for night work

During the period 15/6–16/8, we offer a bonus system based on hours worked:

• 200 hours — 10,000 SEK
• 240 hours — 12,000 SEK
• 280 hours — 14,000 SEK
• 320 hours — 16,000 SEK

The compensation is paid in arrears.

You will also get access to IKSU Spa during June–August.

About night work at Axlagården

At night, the pace is calmer, but presence is all the more important. As a night nurse with us, you work closely with our guests and their relatives, focusing on:

• symptom relief and safety
• presence in existential conversations
• support for relatives in a sensitive moment
• creating peace, dignity, and continuity throughout the night

You work together with experienced care staff and always have access to a doctor on call.

We are looking for you who

• is a licensed nurse who thrives with responsibility and independence
• has a genuine interest in palliative care
• is confident, perceptive, and has the ability to create calm in complex situations
• appreciates the close teamwork that night duty entails
• meets patients and relatives with warmth, respect, and professionalism

Experience in palliative care is meritorious, but the most important thing is your personality and commitment.
