District Nurse/Nurse Temporary Position for Telephone Consultation

Vårdcentralen Smeden is a cozy and well-established health center serving approximately 12,000 listed patients. The health center includes nurse consultations, doctor consultations, pediatric consultations, laboratory services, district nurse consultations, child health care, chronic disease clinics, psychotherapist, counselor, rehabilitation coordinator, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. We are also developing digitally and receive patients via chat, among other methods.

We are a privately owned health center with a contract with Region Sörmland through Hälsoval. The health center is located in central Eskilstuna in an area with significant growth. The company is part of a small group that also includes occupational health services and a vaccination clinic. Our owners are 47 local businesses.

Your duties

Your tasks will mainly involve telephone consultation and booking in TeleQ and digital consultation. These duties are part of the daily work and are one of our most important tools. As a consultation nurse, you have significant independent responsibility in assessing patients.

Your competence

A requirement is that you are a licensed nurse, preferably with further training in open health care and several years of experience. Previous work in a health center or outpatient clinic is meritorious. We would like you to be comfortable in triaging patients and confident in making decisions and assessments independently.

You must speak fluent Swedish and have good computer skills. You should be accustomed to working independently but actively participate in the work team. You should be confident in your professional role and interested in providing high medical quality.
