Fire Stopper to Fogentreprenören in Kalmar

Fogentreprenören is looking for a fire stopper for our operations in Kalmar. We are looking for someone who either has experience in the field, or wants to develop in fire sealing and passive fire protection.

We are open to training the right person with the right attitude and drive.

This is a role for someone who wants to work hands-on in projects, while also being able to take on more responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution over time.

Fogentreprenören is one of southern Sweden's most experienced players in construction joint sealing, fire stopping, and passive fire protection. We also work with injection and carbon fiber reinforcement in projects for property owners, contractors, and the public sector.

About the role

As a fire stopper, you work with sealing penetrations and joints as part of buildings' passive fire protection. The work takes place out in projects together with colleagues and involves both practical execution and opportunities to further develop in the role.

The work includes, among other things:

• fire stopping of penetrations for electrical, plumbing, and ventilation
• work with fire-rated materials and solutions
• work based on drawings and instructions
• documentation and quality assurance of completed work

Over time, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility in projects, for example in planning, coordination, and simpler project management.

You will be introduced to the work and receive support from experienced colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

• has experience from construction, assembly, or similar work, or wants to learn a new profession
• is practical and enjoys working on site
• is meticulous and responsible
• wants to develop and take on more responsibility over time
• has a valid driver's license (class B)

It is meritorious if you have experience in fire stopping or passive fire protection, but it is not a requirement.
