Content Creator / Business Reporter (Skåne, Malmö)

Do you want to be part of a journey and build something from scratch? We are looking for a driven and curious writer who wants to create engaging content about entrepreneurship and business – and at the same time be out where it happens.

About the role

In this role, you will produce articles, interviews, and reports published on our upcoming website/e-newspaper. You will work both independently and proactively – you find your own angles, make contact with relevant people, and drive your projects to completion.

The work also involves packaging content for different channels, where text, images, and short formats (e.g. video/shorts) work together to reach and engage a broad audience.

The position is based in Malmö and the work takes place on-site in Skåne.

Job duties

• Write articles, reports, and interviews about entrepreneurship and business
• Independently find ideas, sources, and people to interview
• Make contact, book and conduct interviews
• Photograph and edit images for publication
• Adapt and reuse content for social media
• Work with newsletters and content that drives traffic to the website
• Contribute to developing our digital presence and reach
• Follow the organization's editorial policies and guidelines

We are looking for someone who

• Is a skilled writer with a sense of storytelling
• Is proactive and enjoys making contact and driving progress
• Has a strong interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and business
• Is comfortable with digital tools, social media, and various publishing formats
• Has an eye for images and preferably experience with photography and basic editing
• Enjoys a fast pace and working both independently and creatively

Meritorious

• Experience in content creation for digital channels
• Knowledge of video/shorts and basic video editing
• Experience in newsletters or digital marketing

About the position

• Location: Malmö, Skåne
• Work type: On-site
• Scope: Part-time, approximately 25%
• The position has good potential for expansion as the website/e-newspaper grows
