Health Consultant in Eda Municipality 50 percent

Job Duties

· Conduct health conversations and fitness tests, plan and lead health courses, and direct exercise groups.

· Inform and lecture about Wellness in Värmland and about dietary habits and physical activity.

· Coordinate group activities and be responsible for local exercise instructors.

· Organize the administrative work at the wellness center.

· Work in line with the operational direction of Wellness in Värmland and the current collaboration agreement with Region Värmland and Eda Municipality.

· Be a representative of Wellness in Värmland and a resource in local public health work, where efforts are made in collaboration with healthcare, municipal administrations, and other organizations and associations.

Profile

· University education in health promotion/public health or another equivalent education deemed appropriate by the employer.

· Training and experience in working with motivational interviewing.

· You have a good ability to build relationships and networks, as well as to drive and carry out work independently.

· Experience in health promotion/public health work or similar is meritorious.

· It is desirable that you have local knowledge of Eda Municipality, and you need a valid driver's license (B category) and access to a car.
