Rasmusbyn is looking for summer substitutes for our LSS operations
Description
Do you want to be part of our community this summer? We are looking for care workers for our LSS operations in a rural environment with animals and nature nearby. The operations are geographically located between Örebro and Nora. With us, you work with people who need support and care, but also with animals and nature on our farm just north of Örebro. Our care is aimed at adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities within the LSS framework.
Our unique business concept is to run a small farm together, employees and residents. We share the village with horses, dogs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. Our mission is to strengthen each resident by providing care and support based on individual needs. To thrive with us, you should enjoy working with varied tasks that, in addition to care work, consist of farm work, animal care, gardening, and creative activities.
As an employee, you may work in one of our four group homes where you also participate in the daily activities during weekdays. Here, you support our residents in their work groups (kitchen/dining area, forest/farm, stable/animals, or creative) together with our supervisors.
Care education or education with a pedagogical focus, as well as experience in similar work, is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To thrive with us, you need to share our social therapeutic core values where we see each other for who we are. Rasmusbyn is a village for everyone, but especially for those who need stability, rhythm, care, less stress, and to be part of a fantastic community on their own terms. We let the seasons shape the rhythm of the village. Varied working hours during daytime, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call. A driving license (B) and access to your own car are required.
We recruit continuously!
