Janitor Wanted for The International Preschool AB - Biskopsgården

Job Description:

This is a part-time position.

We are accepting applications for a cleaner position starting August 2026.

We are looking for a thorough and responsible janitor for our preschool - The International Preschool AB in Biskopsgården. As a janitor, you will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for both children and staff. You will work closely with the preschool team and have an understanding of the special hygiene requirements in a preschool environment.

Please note that references will be requested and an extract from the criminal records register is required in connection with the application.

Duties:

• Daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and common areas.
• Disinfection of surfaces used by children and personnel.
• Reporting any damage or maintenance needs in the premises.
• Collaborating with preschool staff to maintain a safe environment.

A detailed job description and schedule will be provided upon employment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in janitorial work, preferably in preschool, school, or other environments with high hygiene requirements.
• Understanding of hygiene procedures and infection control in children's activities.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Thorough, methodical, and reliable.
• Friendly, respectful, and helpful attitude.
• Proficient in basic Swedish or English, preferably both, in speech and writing.
• Completed training in janitorial work or equivalent vocational training is meritorious.
