Wood and Metal Sloyd Teacher for Primary School, Years 3-9

Floda Säteri has a history spanning several hundred years, but the place has never been as full of life as it has been during the last 30 years, when the school has been housed in the premises. With us, the children's interests, motivation, and joy are the starting point for all learning.

Today we have approximately 255 children and students aged 6-16 in Floda, and we use Montessori pedagogy to help our students learn as far as possible based on the national curriculum Lgr22. In addition to our compulsory school, the operation includes three preschools in the Lerum municipality.

The work at the school is characterized by a holistic view, and we work from a 1–16-year perspective, constantly trying to find and follow the "common thread" in the various subject areas. The Montessori School Floda Säteri is in constant development while also valuing Montessori pedagogy as a value foundation and approach to help students develop as far as possible.

It is a strong wish that you are qualified and certified teacher. Montessori training or work experience from a Montessori school is highly meritorious.

We are looking for someone who wants to work 50% Monday-Wednesday teaching wood and metal sloyd to our students. Teaching takes place in half-class groups of 10-15 students. Experienced colleagues support and help to create security for both you and the students throughout the school year 26/27.
