Aspen Montessori is an independent primary school for grades F–5 with approximately 120 students. The school and leisure-time center are housed in a charming old school building with generous ceiling height and a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The school is beautifully located in a nature-rich environment that invites movement, play, and exploration—with meadows, streams, and forests just outside the door. There are excellent conditions for a varied and inspiring leisure-time center activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Our leisure-time center is organized into three departments: F–1, 2–3, and 4–5, with three staff members assigned to each department. The team consists of a total of 7–9 employees who work in close and well-functioning collaboration with the school's teachers. The operations are characterized by commitment, cooperation, and shared responsibility for quality and development. We also value planning time as an obvious and important part of the pedagogical mission.

About the position

We are looking for a leisure-time teacher/leisure-time pedagogue for our leisure-time center. In this role, you work together with colleagues to create a stimulating, safe, and meaningful environment for students in grades F–5. You have a clear pedagogical responsibility and work both during the school day and during leisure-time hours, focusing on care, learning, social development, and meaningful free time in accordance with the curriculum.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date: Fall 2026 or by agreement.

Job duties

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and activities in the leisure-time center based on Lgr22
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Support students' social development, interaction, and independence
  • Collaborate closely with the school's teachers, leisure-time staff, and guardians
  • Actively contribute to the school's values work and collegial development work

Qualifications

  • Licensed leisure-time teacher or leisure-time pedagogue degree
  • Experience working in leisure-time centers and/or school settings
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Good collaboration skills and a professional, respectful manner

· Interest in school development and willingness to contribute to the school's systematic quality work
